Trip Grades

Vehicles Must be equipped with recovery points Front and Rear.

Contact Trip Leader for exact conditions.

Grade 1

Picnic type outing, 4WD will not be necessary, easy driving no extra skills required.

Grade 2

Some 4WDriving will be encountered, moderate skills required.
Dusty or muddy conditions may be experienced.
Minor grades may be encountered.
Basic recovery gear Recommended.

Grade 3

Low range will be encountered.
Accredited driver training required.
Some difficult conditions may be encountered.
Basic recovery gear mandatory.
Vehicle recovery points front and rear are mandatory.

Grade 4

As above plus,
Good skills required.
Difficult conditions will be encountered.
Low Range will be used.

Grade 5

Extreme track conditions will be experienced.
Low Range essential.
Traction Aids and suspension modifications recommended.
